I just downloaded the demo yesterday, and finally got time to start testing it under Samplitude. Everything seems to go okay for about 3 seconds, then KABOOM!!!, I see my peecee's POST screen.

System:
Gigastudio v2.54
Samplitude v7.22
M-Audio Delta 1010LT
SBLive Value 5.1
Biostar VKD MB
512MB DDR 2600
Athlon 2100XP
CD-RW
DVD-RW
60gB 7200 Audio Drive
40gB 7200 Gigs drive
30gB 7200 system drive

I had loaded up a project I had been working on using straight virtual MIDI to GS. I added the VST adaptor to the plugins, changed the port to VSTi 2 Giga (It wouldn't let me use VSTi Giga VST). I then set up GS to what the manual called for.

Any ideas to try?

Thanks

Well, I still haven't got this working with Samp 7.22, and my demo has now expired.

Oh well. It was a nice try, I guess. Maybe the next version will work with it.

Now that my demo has expired, I cannot any longer test it. An uninstall and reinstall does not help. Sad

I simply cannot believe that I am the ONLY samplitude user to have tried this. Is samplitude really that unpopular? What a shame, because honestly, I have tried all the above, and nothing else even comes close to Samp. Literally, everything kinda sucks in comparison.

Come on guys, I would love to buy this program, but it simply has to work first.

Thanks,

Are you using any loopback midi type programs? I run midioverlan with such a feature and i have my suspicions about it interfering with the wrapper. Try uninstalling them and see how you go.

Negitive. All my MIDI is hardware only, with the sole exception of Gigastudio's software MIDI drivers. I have no remote peecees whatsoever.

I am however suspectiing my Video Toaster 2.x software install. I will try to uninstall it before the end of the weekend. However, I still cannot test the fx-max software, as my demo has expired. Geeze...talk about a catch 22.
